Continuous Glucose Monitoring

Continuous Glucose Monitoring is an advanced way for people living with diabetes to check glucose readings in real-time or monitor glucose readings over a period of time. By using a continuous glucose monitor, your CGM system will automatically receive glucose readings every 5 minutes allowing you to fingerstick less often. CGM can be used with or without an insulin pump.

What is Smart CGM?
Smart CGM predicts future high and low sensor glucose events up to 60 minutes in advance and provides access to additional algorithms and insights that can inform you of clinically relevant glucose patterns.

What is Professional CGM?
Professional CGM is used by your healthcare provider and captures up to 288 glucose readings each day for up to six days and creates a personalized report that can help you better understand the cause and effect of your glucose variability.

How does CGM work?
Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems track glucose levels throughout the day. CGM users insert a tiny sensor wire just under their skin using an automatic applicator. An adhesive patch holds the CGM sensor housing in place so the sensor can measure glucose readings in interstitial fluid throughout the day and night.
